I'm moving to the Omaha area in a few months and have bookmarked this page. It sounds like there will be enough of us to have get togethers and visit. or sewing sessions, etc.

I work in Omaha, live in Iowa... I have been disappointed in the lack of quilt shops... glad to see this list... I have been in a couple. I moved from Arizona... seems there are shops on every corner there... thanks again. Quilter1234

What part of OK are you moving from? I used to live in OK as well, between times that I lived here in Omaha.

There is also an AWESOME vintage sewing machine shop too!

The Quilt Shop in Fremont is Fabulous!! Nice people, great fabrics and notions. A must see!!!!

Thank You for the heads -up. We have many quilt shops in Omaha and also one in Gretna. This is very very dangerous for me. I spend way too much money in these stores.

I know of 5 Quilt stores in the Omaha area....one of them is in LaVista the sixth one would be in Gretna.
