cold and rainy here. maybe 45. WET WET WET. flooding here in the city of Minot. people living up on hil tops have basements filling with water I have heard. I left home yesterday to work and won't go back until it quits raining and dries up some so I can get into my yard. I live a 1/2 miles from a highway and that road is going under water and then our driveway is 1/4 mile into a hole. water rising on 2 sides, house up a little so water shouldn't fill the first floor. Might come in the basement again like it did last month. had 3 inches there that disappeared by itself. I am not able to walk that far anymore carrying my computer, etc for work. Was leaving the car at our other place on the highway, but taking a chance no one would break into it and steal it. It has to get better sometime soon, but the question is when and how much is this going to cost everyone. Farmers in my area are not able to get in the fields, we are not able to get out cattle out to pasture because of the roads. They won't take loads on them. will cave. we have some that keep breaking the fences and going for walkabouts.
