    I think it would be nice in Batiks. Shades of yellow for the cross and border, and shades of purple for the background.

    Thanks, I love it. We have a gal who goes rag quilts for our prayer quilt ministry and she always does a cross in the middle. Sometimes she uses a contrasting color and others a couple of shades lighter or darker.

    I sometimes send my quilts out to be quilted if I get lazy. My LA also does prayer quilts. She too always does the cross in the middle. But the fabrics are so simular in color that you can barely see the cross.

    I like the "gold" cross and purple stripe with white background idea. Royal looking.
