If you have a bookstore near your home, I would also suggest taking a look through what they have on the bookshelf.
I was lucky that my library had some great books there - not many, but some. Fortunately I am able to search their books online and the library will transfer books within our local library system for free which is sweet.
I keep trying to rack my brain the name of the book I checked out that I liked a lot better..

I think you will love the book/DVD combo. I've had it for a while and been studying how to do it. I was extremely lucky this past April to take Karen's class (McTavishing on Your Domestic) at the Machine Quilter's Expo, and it really "clicked" for me after taking the class. Besides which, Karen is beyond awesome and a real hoot (plus being a fabulous teacher).
