    I love it. Don't let your obligations interfere with your pleasure in quilting.

    I have completed over 400 quilts, but I do "crumb" blocks when I am not ready to work on anything tricky. I don't know how you do yours, but i find I can do them more easily with a foundation of some sort. At present, I am using 'dead' sheets, cut into squares. Sometimes, I use batting scraps for the foundation. Mine usually turn into charity quilts. Sometimes I make large half square triangle sub-blocks with plain fabric for the other half and make oversized stars etc. with those.

    I am loving this crazy quilt, it is amazing what a pile of scraps can be. You did a fantastic job. Do hope you are better.
