Gorgeous angel. Someone just asked me to do an angel quilt
and I haven't been able to find anything I liked. Do you remember

This sounds like an incredibly fun project, and I love the start of it. May I suggest you do a google "images" search for round robin quilts. This will give you hundreds of pictures of round robin quilts people have done and maybe give you some ideas of what do do around your center.
Please post your progress, so we can all see, as I love how you have started.
