Beautiful topper. My most stressful time is when I am cutting. I am terrible at it and will be glad when I get it perfected.

that's gorgeous so far!! When I made my first large top, I was really stressed out too. I think it comes from the feeling of "how am I going to fit all this top in that little space."

That is beautiful... no wonder they are excited... and perfect is not always quite as interesting... besides the quilt was made by YOU for them... lots of love there.

Don't stress. I don't make large quilts because I can't handle them. Lovely colors.

I had trouble quilting large quilts on the DSM until I learned to quilt in sections. Marti Michell's book explains several different methods.

Don't stress. You have so far done a beautiful job, Take a day off and walk away from it. Maybe if you have a day of distraction, you can hit it again with renewed enthusiasm. Not to worry. You can do it!

So don't get stressed, it's so much fun to put on the borders and quilt the whole thing :D Looking forward to pictures of the finished quilt!
thats a really good idea! Do you do that with Irish chain too? I think this one might be hard to do that with cuz I had to make all the red/blue squares 1st because there were so many steps to making those I did them all then moved onto the white blocks. whew it sure is alot of orginization being a quilter huh? LOL

Very nice-think of the relief and good feelings you will have when you get the borders on! Then you will know that you can conquer bed-size quilts without an issue!

My, what a pretty quilt it is turning out to be! You will do just fine, keep at it and little by little it will be done. Can't wait for you to post it completed. :-D
