    Can you cover these dirty fabrics with clean fabrics, leaving the old?
    Kinda like when they would use an old worn out quilt as batting for a new one :wink: You can always peek underneath to see the originals :D

    I would replace them, keep them in a ziplock bag for memory and continue making quilts. I don't believe grandma would want you to quit and I believe she would replace them, maybe she did through the years and now it is time to replace them again.
