I have tried to stitch while riding, but I feel every road bump and feel like the needle is bouncing around.

I am so envious - unable to read or sew in the car. But I guess it just means I need to either drive or talk with the driver....

Perfect time to hand stitch the quilt binding or for hand piecing! My husband insists on driving on long distance trips. OK with me!
Altho it doens't work when riding the motorcycle

I don't get the opportunity often, but I like to applique in the car. I have everything cut out and pinned on the blocks and applique away. I do miss seeing some of nature's beauty that way so I don't do it too often.

Definitely. I usually save some up if I know I am going on a trip. Keeps me awake, otherwise I am like baby, and fall fast asleep!
