I have given fabric to our senior center here in Stevens Point. There are volunteers who make things for hospital patients and need the fabrics badly. I myself have made lots and lots of teddy bears for the hospital, with fabric that was given to me. It is just an idea

Some of your local churches may have quilting groups that make quilts for different charities.
A quilt guild in you area would be great. Our guild takes donated fabrics, kits them up and then we take home the kits and make quilts and bring them back. We give away over 600 quilts a year to various charitable organizations.
