    I love the lunch pail. I still have my dad's he used for years plus the thermos.

    I thought of my FIL's that he carried to school--he was born in 1925 and I use it to store our napkins.

    What great ideas! Nice work! I like to try stuff like this too, tho' I haven't done any lately. Really like the lunch pail! I would love a tute!

    Well you could carry it in the lunchpail. The Cake, that is , not the narrative.

    Since this is a working "girl's" lunchpail I can invision it made of some not so heavy fabrics. Unless that would take away from the original design. What a great travel bag for hand or paper piecing and lunch to boot!
    I say go for the tute and let the creativity begin :thumbup:

    I am going to do another one of a lighter and prettier fabric. I have some of the Japanese gold accented print fabric. The choice of the black was to mimic the original black lunchpail of working class fame.
