Machingers gloves, slider, and practice practice practice. Believe me the first two make a big difference

With my new Janome 6600, I need to change to an embroidery/darning foot, but also change several other settings to do FMQ. The results are worth it. My guild has a LA. I can't stand long enough to use it any more, but what the machine "experts" say is to take 2 pieces of fabric and a piece of batting...the fabric can be old sheets... then just play for a while trying lots of different shapes and patterns. This method works.
