I thought a serger or embroidery machine for businesses. Look at the flat base that extends to the back though have never seen that on a serger.

I just noticed at bottom right of photo a case top it looks like. Can anyone make out what it says on it? Wonder if it the case top for this machine?

The more I look at this thing I'm thinking it's an embroidery machine because of the flat base going to the back of it. The machine is set sideways where we see only the dies but that flat base looks very much like what you would find on an embroidery machine if you turned it facing us and the dials be on the side.

Suppose it could still be some type of serger but have never seen a serger that has that flat base like that.

On second thought. How many thread spools does it take at once?

I agree with Lori. It appears to be an older model. I definitely do not believe it is an embroidery machine.

could be ablind stitch hemmer or tacker. not a serger I have tbree and it is not a serger. look at machines on singer's website.

Have you Googled the model number? It should be located on the machine somewhere and you should get a response telling you what it is.

looked up industrial sewing machines and it looks like it could be an older coverlock machine look up industrial machines get all kinds of the brand names. take your serial number and google it.
