I didn't expect anything I too do not like these new found holidays. I have no grandparents anymore but I do not believe my parents even know it exists! Just remember them through out the year that is good enough for me!

We do the same.

We got a card. Since we didn't know it was Grandparents' Day, we were pleasantly surprised.

Didn't expect anything and didn't get anything. Just happy to have them near and in our lives.

I always thought it was the middle week before father's day and after mother's day. at least that's when I give my grandparents a special day

We got all we needed....our usual Sunday evening phone call. So wonderful to hear the little one's voices telling us they love us and how their weekend went. Every Sunday evening is grandparent's day as far as we are concerned.

Occasionally my DGS 4 years old will get his moms phone and redial me. I have to laugh as I try to let him know I am there and the stories he tells me when no one knows he is on the phone! My answering machine is sometimes funny too, with things like she won't talk to me but she said hello.
