    was going to make a bed runner for my sister using 5" charms only but like your use of smaller rows of squares in between. I'll be stealing this idea from you if you don't mind. love your quilt.

    By the way, the rectangle blocks on the outer border.....my other sister, who lived in Germany for several years, decided that they look like subway tiles at some station in Germany. I don't remember the name of the city, but anyway, now we call them subway tiles instead of bricks or rectangles. More sophiscated, don't you think?
