    They are breadbasket liners someone here did a tute on them.

    It is a breadbasket liner. I looked on Google images and found one similar to it but in a different color and pattern.

    That's exactly what they are!! I went to a craft sale with my DM & she bought one so that we could make some of our own. This is exactly what they look like!!

    Maybe the 4 corners are just folded over the buns? - I sometimes just put a pretty sm. kitchen towel in a basket for hot buns & fold the ends over to take to the table.

    Ok then it's settled. THey are bread basket liners. Thanks to all you've really helped with one of the nagging mysteries that plague me.
