    Hobby lobby.
    Its a 3 x 4 foot sheet for $7.99
    I cut it with a razor.

    When I finish my bag that is what I also am planning on doing...Lowes had a bunch on sale for 10 cents a square.

    I don't know if bacon has that plastic thing in it anymore but I washed it and cut it to size. Also those thin cutting mats for the kitchen can be used.

    GREAT suggestions here...

    I brought home some out of date sign board we were using at work. It's the type from manufacturers with their logos and pictures on it. It's very sturdy, finished, smooth heavy duty cardboard.
