Hi i have the Brother SE400 its great but just wanted you to know that you only can 4x4 embroidery.I love this little one but i wanted to do bigger embroidery so i got a Bernina 200 that was upgraded to the 730.Good luck desiding on what you want in a machine.

I am also looking at purchasing the SE 400 ....main reason for the embroidery--have others for the sewing--have been told that it is very easy to operate and that it only did the 4x4 ..that you could download easily the embroidery patterns? the se400 ordered on line WM is $350 vs store $389??
