Reason #11 - sound insulation
I was commenting to my DH that we could not hear our new toilet "flush" in a room two doors down from our bedroom. He dryly replied that was because there was so much material/fabric in that spare bedroom that cut down on the noise.

12. This particular piece of lovely fabric won't be around for long.
13. This goes with fabric in my stash.
14. If it's in my stash, I'm ready when I have to make up a design at 2 AM.
15 My DH just spent a pile of money on boy toys and feels guilty, so now is the time for ME to buy.

I also like it when hubby goes along. He doesn't pay attention to what I'm picking up to buy, doesn't have a clue what fabric or notions cost and is so ready to get out of the store that he pays the bill without complaining. It doesn't get any better than that.

Yes, yes, yes and seven more yesses. My dad gave me a card with "the one with the most..." many years ago. It is proudly displayed in my sewing room. I'm never gonna win - but I try!

Too funny...do we actually need a reason, after all, we are quilters. LOL( I was going to say women, but, that might of been alittle sexist with all the wonderful men on this board)
