    What a chuckle, lol, but going to check them out, I try using a thimble, put in on one finger and will use a different one everytime. lol

    Michael's also sells a package of fingertip protectors, similar to those used by secretaries who handle papers. They are heavier duty than the fingercots, but I have used both for years. I always give my beginning quilting students some and that always breaks them up!

    These are also great for FMQ...with all the hot flashes.....I mean power surges I get...whole gloves just make me hot...so these little finger cots give me grip without the heat!

    All jokes aside, I was having trouble finding a thimble to fit, DH kept listening to me complain about the painful indent in my fingure. He took it on himself to find a solution and he come home with the same but orange and available in
    the Office supply shops,they are a smooth finger cots used for turning pages or in banks for counting notes. They do work. I said thankyou and so did my finger.
