    Beautiful quilts, always partial to log cabin quilts, love that layout. You did a wonderful job on all of them.

    Thank you all. The first two quilts, I named "Shoe Box Quilt - #1 and #2". All the fabric was left to me by a dear sister, Faith, who passed in 2010. She was quite a quilter! I have two more shoe box quilts to be put together. All pieces for one quilt are arranged in a shoe box in the order to be sewn, with the last pieces in the bottom. The colors blend so well together and are cut to perfection. My BIL and SIL took such good care of my sister in her battle with cancer that I wanted them to have one of her shoebox quilts.

    The Best Friends patterns - my sister was making the girls, unbeknownst to me at the same time I was making the best friend guys. I found her blocks among her things and put them all together for my Mom and another sister who helped Faith so much.
