Glad for all the rain you are getting in TX! I can smell rain and it smells clean and good!

My brother lives in Farmers Branch and he says Dallas is getting pounded right now with rain! Hopefully the flooding is just a "short term" thing to deal with since the whole state of TX needs all the rain it can get!

Here in Alabama it has rained almost every day for 2 or 3 weeks, wish I could send more your way. The good thing is it has been in the 60's and 70's just about all winter, haven't had to turn on my heater yet, it's great. Hope it continues this way the rest of winter.

do you want some snow to go with that rain?? I am willing to share. I am from Houston and remember the soft rains too. love it. now a days rain comes in torents doesn't it? not quite the same.

Thanks but no thanks, think I'll pass on the snow although the GKs would love it. By the way I too can smell the rain. Sure it has something to do with the water on the ground but who cares. It smells good.
