Maybe God was trying to tell you there is someone out there who needs a quilt. Just think about all the folks who lost everything in the recent tornados. Maybe your supposed to bless someone with your "leftovers".

The second quilt will find it's place in your heart and a home somewhere to boot.

You could make the same blocks, lay them in a different pattern and use them for the back, Have a reversible quilt.
    Good luck

Are they the right size to cut into strips for a piano key border for your quilt?

I'd be looking thru my "1001 Patchwork Designs" book for another pattern for using the others.
