    what is the preprinted backing fabric called? i haven't heard of it. sounds good though.

    Not sure the proper name for the fusible batting, there is a quilt shop in my area, that use only fusible batting on their quilts. And all of the ladies that work there love the stuff and use it on their quilts. I have not tried it yet, but thinking I should try it one and see how it works. The quilts they have on display are wonderful, so it can not be that bad. I think, you have to be careful with it and take your time to make sure the wrinkles are out.
