    Sush a lovely gesture and the quilt will mean so much. As far as the eyes, do you want the cat to be facing the butterflies or facing forward? Beautiful DD and helper!

    Cute quilt. I would put buttons on but I would use small black buttons or dark green buttons...

    Really nice - I think the cat needs eyes and some whiskers maybe? The recipient should be very proud to get this quilt. It is fantastic. Wonderful job.

    Thanks everyone for looking and helping me decide I will add eyes to the cat. I will use dark green buttons as HopeToQuilt from NJ suggested. Thanks you all have been a big help and source of encouragement! Yes, I'll add some whiskers too; maybe a grey color for the whiskers.
