    i have on occassion taken a class- for fun- but i was dyeing my own fabrics years before ever seeing class offering-
    there are 2 books i highly recommend to anyone interested in dyeing their own fabrics- mine seem to always be out- never put away-
    they are:
    the Fabric Dyer's Dictionary by Linda Johansen
    and
    Fabric to dye for by Frieda Anderson
    i've been dyeing my own fabrics for more than 20 years- and purchase my supplies from Dharma Trading company
    they offer lots of free instructions & help-in their catalog & on line.
    pretty much every quilt i make has at least a small piece of something i have dyed myself.

    Your quilt is great. I tried dying in a class I took and I decided it wasn't for me. You have mastered it!!!!
