this happens with my searches as well. the ads are run by google, so that makes sense. doesn't bother me that much.

I can ignore most of them but the flashing/blinking ones do tend to bother me sometimes !

Maybe someone in your family used your computer to google a topic related to Battlefield 3. I've noticed that whatever is googled shows up here as a personalized ad.
