Hello, and Welcome from Missouri! I don't have the heritage you do, but I do enjoy quilting. I actually taught my mother how to make the Cathedral Window quilt! Then she made them for all the other kids in the family!

Sounds like you have a great life, BSO! I also love cats...currently have 6 from ages 12 down to 5 months. We also have a Portuguese water dog, Molly who will be 2 soon. It's kinda hard to get much quilting done around here with all the activity, but I do enjoy it very much. Very new at it...have made only 4 baby quilts thus far. About to begin one for best friend's birthday and then, her daughter's wedding. (I am nervous about the wedding quilt).
    bye from ArkieJan

Hey there! Thanks for your post...Someday, I'd love to visit Massachusetts. A friend told me about the Norman Rockwell museum, and I've been dying to go ever since. Also would love to see the Northeast in the autumn for the colors. However, we have some gorgeous colors in our yard right here in Northeast Arkansas, too. Gotta go for now...have a good quilting week-end! Arkiejan
