    we need to have abuddy system when opening our stash closets....call a quilter before entering and call to give an 'all clear' when done....hehe

    Made me laugh. My stash is in totes on steel racks. I discovered early on that the closet was not a good place for stash.

    Good thing most of my stash is behind cabinet doors!!! Though I do have a dozen or so rubbermaid tubs in the garage that I could get buried under

    Funny but I think it is a joke story. I think if my husband had people picking through my fabric stash as I lay in intensive care, the next story might be his obituary.

    When we first moved to San Diego I read a story of an elderly (80+) man buried in his garage by his stacks of books - I thought it was a joke at first until I thought of my parents - my dad said he went happy. After that incident though he bought storage shelves and started organizing all his books and magazines.
