River, what a nice thing to make for your mom. My mom really loved all things 'owl' too. Sadly, she passed this May, one week before her 97th birthday. I have the huge garden owl that she had, sitting on my shelf so I look at it and think of her watching over us. Nice to know there is another owl-loving mom still here. :-)
