    Welcome...you will learn a lot here!!! I started quilting 2 years ago...and when I started I did not know how to thread my sewing machine..this group here taught me that and so much more!!! Avoid buy new fabric for now if you can...dig through the closets and clean out all the cotton shirts, dress etc..that you no longer wear...you will have fun. Also as you quilt you will get better and better...my first few quilt which I loved at the time...now I see all the mistakes...the granddogs now use them LOL
