    After I sew a quilt top I gather all the left over scraps and sew them together in units which then go on the back of the quilt..I get to quilt outside the lines for fun..and avoid feeding the dragon in the scrap bag!

    You ladies give me hope. I work full time and just barely get a few quilts done a year. But I have been saving my scraps for some day. Hope it comes soon. Thanks for posting.

    I can't wait to see how this one turns out. I'm liking it so far. I save all my scraps and have a hard time making myself use them.

    Help please!!!!! I like what was done with those snippets, but I couldn't quite figure it out, so I went to Quiltsville and could not find it.....can someone give me a hint so I can attack my tiny scraps and do this!!!!!!

    oh, now I see it......just strips made into fab then cut into new strips.........when I first looked at it, I thought I was seeing white sashing inbetween, sorry........I think I got it now, but I would like to watch her do it...if possible.....

    I agree Murphy 1 that I save everything! I have boxes and bins of stripe and scraps a la Bonnie Hunter. Have made 2 quilt scrappy quilts and am working on a tumbler pattern right now.
