Are quilters real busy or what?

I mainly get on here during the day, at work. If I finish my work I get on here. I have noticed less postings. Noticed some old members have moved on. The new board was no problem for me, just read and tried things and it all worked. Some people had a hissy fit because it was a bit different and refused to learn new ways. A lot sounded like spoiled two year olds. As I always say - the important ones will be here.

Im an old timer here and it is not as easy to do the basic posting of things like pictures as it used to be. I miss the old board and the simple technology it had.
But Im still here and yes it is not as busy as it was before the "improvements"

As a relatively new member, I don't recall what the old QB was like, so I am okay with the current format. I FINALLY learned how to resize my photos so I can upload pictures to this forum. I assure you I was kicking and screamng during the learning process. Now that it is over, I am okay ! There may not be as many postings lately becasue of the holidays...I am doing a lot of last minute stuff myself. I decided I have too much Christmas fabric and I am now making pillow cases for the family, lol.

It seems like just when we get a really interesting thread going - read one that is bringing strong opinions out about the subject- people will just back off and quit the subject. The last one we had was on whether we liked scrappy quilts or not. I like the support, but I LOVE the give and take of opinions that are heart felt on different subjects.

I'm relatively new to the board, and am learning so very much. I have posted one question and have received valuable advice.
However, I am no longer able to post. I get this message:
You do not have permission to create tags. You may only use existing tags.
I had a look last night and there are some others who have the same problem. If people can't post, the activity is going to go down.
I'm not sure who to contact.
