    The website says $16.97/year.

I just looked at all the quilting magazines available through Amazon. Patchwork and Quilting is $86 forr 1 year/12 issues! I've never seen that magazine and I'm betting I never will.

If you think our quilting mags are pricey, I just opened the renewal notice for hubby's Model Railroader Magazine - $42.95. At least it's 12 issues, though. You can save $7.95 by getting two years for $77.95, but that's too much to come up with at one time.

i dropped all of my subscriptions a couple years ago- seemed like 1/2 the time i didn't make anything from the magazines...i still browse through the offerings at the grocery store mag rack when i shop & pick up different ones off & on- seems like i get a pretty good selection of new projects- articles- without being *committed* to one particular magazine- i must say though- i always loved the fon's & porter. if you want to renew you may be better off doing it on line directly through their site- the thing you received is not accurate...maybe it was somehow an international offer or something...

I hope this is a typo because this comes out to $12.98 an issue! Is this crazy or what? Has anyone else gotten this offer or am I the only lucky one? Just curious.
Yes, I got one.....it was for about $71; called F&P and as I remember, they said it must have been from some mag sub service. I wish I'd saved it! I looked on Amazon for the Patchwork & Quilting one mentioned, and it's for BRITISH P&Q. Our version is American P&Q. I wonder if the F&P one was like that too.

I just checked online Fons and Porter. They have one full year for $16.97 plus $4.00 S&H. If you pay online you recieve 12 quilting guides free. The advertisement goes on to state the price of the two year subscription. You might want to check it out.

There's also Australian P&Q, which is also (understandably) pretty expensive. However, that magazine has some gorgeous projects.

I sure wish the American magazines would expand their horizons. They all seem to be the same old, same old. I'd LOVE to see them start featuring more of the styles and ideas coming out of Australia and Japan.

since some have posted different prices found... i'm wondering if they are 'testing' different prices. maybe they want to see how many will call them to question that.
