Thank you for taking the time to make the tutorial. I hope to try it in the future after the UFOs are done.

I like this block ... thanks for sharing the tutorial. I am wondering how to make it larger. If I am making a 10 1/2" block, how wide do I cut my strips? I'm thinking 2" but I can't get that answer mathematically. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Fantastic tutorial. I have had the pattern and fabric for making one for 3 years. Maybe this will get me started.

If my mathematical calculations are correct, a finished 12" block would be double the size of a finished 6" block, so each of the two strips would need to be 2 1/2" wide, with the width of the sewn two-strip set being 4 1/2" wide. The total length would be nearly 30". If I have miscalculated, please let me know.

For a finished 10" block, I am playing around with strips just under 2" each. I'm still playing with this and tend to overthink the process. I'm giving up tonight and will look at it again tomorrow or the next day, depending upon my schedule.

I did this block in just two colors. It's a king size quilt and it came out beautiful. Flaws and all.

Awesome job! You make it look so simple! Thank you. I'll have to try it out on a day off.
