Bummer! I don't have any great ideas but I just want you to know that I sympathize with you. I sure hope it gets working the way you need it to.

Is it possible your thread cutting piece is inhibiting the arm (cam) of the walking foot? I had to remove my thread cutter on my Featherweight when using my original (Penguin) walking foot.

The first machine didn't have a thread cutter. The second one did and I had to remove it to mount the foot. I did change the needle from a 14 to a 16. That seemed to help. So it must be needle deflection. The tension looks good but may try to loosen it a bit tomorrow. Think I'm at 2 now. I still have an occasional skip, much improved from the 14 needle.

Wow that's a lot for a foot. Hope you figure it out.

    It is soooooo cute.
I would love one, but when it costs more than the machine,
    I DON'T THINK SO.

I would love to have one too!! They are so cute, but a bit rich for me. But I do have 2 Singer Pinkers which work great on the FWs. I didn't pay April's price for them either. She has some high priced things on her site.

Hi i buy my featherweight stuff from [email protected]. She is honest and wonderful to
deal with. She has a walking foot that does work very well on a featherweight. It is 28.95 ppd
I ordered one because I know its a good deal. I hope this helps, you can get on her mailing
    list. Sue
