    This is an amazing quilt. Very beautiful. Would you mind sharing how you did this? I see the black patches seem to be every 5th square in a row, with their seams lined up instead of offset. Is that true? Are the blacks a bit larger than the colors? Can't quite figure out how you get them offset, but I love the effect, not to mention the ease of putting the rows together. Very clever! Thanks for posting. Regina

    I really like this, and I'm going to have to google how to make this because I can't figure out how you measured for the offset. It's beautiful!

    I did not have a pattern just made it up. What I did: sew 4 strips 2 1/2 in wide into strip set. Sub cut set into 3in sections. Sew 3 inch square of black onto end of each section. Sew these together alternating black at top then next at bottom and so forth till reach width you want quilt to be. Do same with next row then sew rows together. Only seams to match are where the black squares meet.
