    What an honor to finish something your grandmother started .... that quilt is fabulous. And that tree skirt .... someone previously said it was timeless - I so agree. Enjoy sharing both with many generations to come. Thanks for sharing ... and congratulations for completing!

    I am sure granny is smiling because her quilts are finished. I just really like the tree skirt, so elegant. Good job getting them all done and ready to use.

    Your hand quilting is lovely, and you did a beautiful job framing your grandmother's beautiful work. The tree skirt is also very special.

    I see nothing wrong with either one of them, just enjoy them for years to come. Just think of your grandmother when you hug up warm in the quilt. I think of it as getting a hug from your loved one, when you wrap the quilt around you.

    The tree skirt is lovely and how precious that you have these blocks from your grandma! Something you can never replace and will treasure always.
