    I missed it the first time. Love it, such an original idea for a traditional pattern. I have a all blue and white Irish chain that I am trying to figure out what to do with the "blank" squares. Since it is already put together I was thinking either applique or embroidery in a Celtic design.

    Very unusual but I like it. Love Irish Chain quilts. The quilting is very pretty too.

    I really like it with the print fabric in the middle so you don't have that big blank space.
