One of my late Brothers was stationed in Japan for several years. He loved it and the cheap hand made clothes he could buy there. Back then our money went a lot further over there.
Beautiful quilt and he will love it.

My husband is sympathizing with him. He was in the Marines many years and was stationed in Japan for a year! He did tell me about some good times he had while sight seeing. The quilt is great and I know he will appreciate it!

I know he is looking forward to the experience. Luckily he has a friend that is a doctor and it so happens that the doctor will be in Japan in early September so atleast he will be able to see a familiar face.

My son is in the Navy in Japan and really likes it there. He has been there for 7 years. He is leaving next March and moving back to the states. He was stationed for a long time in Yokosuka, now he is in Iwakuni. It is a nice country. We visited once and loved it. Good luck to him. At least he wasn't sent to Iraq or Afganistan or somewhere like that.

Love the sentiment on the label. Bet you son will treasure this quilt. I always tell my kids and grands that when their quilts are a hug from me when I'm not there.
