Don't forget with your machine embroidery, you may have to use more than 1 layer of stabilizer depending on how many stitches or how dense your design is.

I think it depends on how dense the design is. I use a cut away if it's a dense design, keeps the shape better, and I use tear away and a thin fusiable for the less dense.

also be sure to pre=wash your fabric since washing after embroidery can make the design pucker a little when surrounding fabric shrinks a little and the embroidery section does not...guess how I know.
