I buy bolts often. Especially white on white and cream on cream. It seems like I use them up within a year. Also, Joanne's has a great flannel sale every year the day after Thanksgiving, and I buy flannel by the bolt for quilt backs. Also, I love the bolt sale at Sauders in Denver, PA. They have it several times a year.

One bolt I bought is a print that my sis in law and I both love. When Wally World got stupid with their fabric I got scared and was afraid I'd run out. We've used lots for quite a few items. It's going to be the dark in my Storm at Sea. So, I bought a bolt. Have never regretted it bit.

When I had a small hand dye business, I bought sheeting and pima cotton by the bolt from the manufacturer. It is such a good thing to always have what you need on hand. Always had white on white to dye too, loved doing those. Guess I need to order some more as it is so good to be able to dye what I need for a project when the LQS doesn't have the color I need.

Now you need to get on Quilt in a Day email list so you can take advantage of their bolt sales. Last year I bought some well known mfg bolts at fantastic prices. One bolt was a Moda brand that had over 12 yards that figured out to about $3 a yard.
