You should stop at a quilt shop at 35 ave and Northern. They took over a store that is huge. Used to be a Goodwill store. There is also a great shop on 59 ave and Northern, all fabric is 6.99 a yd. At least it was a year ago. I have moved up to the mountains so don't get to Phx. that often to shop.

We will be there Feb. 4-10. The show starts on the 5th. We have friends who winter in Mesa so we will be visiting with them and also friends from Oceanside, CA we hope to get to see. It's a six hour drive but if we both drive 3 hours and meet in the middle we can at least spend the day with them. DH also wants to go to the zoo. I'm sure we'll keep busy. Just leaving NY for warmer weather in Feb. will be nice. My birthday is Feb. 5 so it will be a great way to celebrate.

OOHHH maybe I can convince someone to go to show also...We will be in Lake Havasu and probably drive down it's only a 3hr and 10 minute drive.....will keep show in mind. Maybe we all should make plans to meet up....wouldn't that be cool. Still trying to figure out how to fit in a trip to Hawaii also...Really my heart is in Hawaii...Have some really great friends there and was really upset when we left in February....

Lots of cacti will be in bloom. I love the botanical garden in Phoenix. There you will see so many varieties of cactus. Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home is in nearby Scotsdale which is good to see too. You'll have a wonderful time I'm sure. Sedona area is beautiful and if you're up for a little further trip the Grand Canyon is a day trip away from Phoenix.
