It turned out beautifully! Glad the person at the quilt shop helped you ~ sorry about the other one! You should be proud!

With an attitude like that she may not be working for long if her job is pattern making. I just finished a wall hanging that the instructions were so out of line and vague that I found myself using the picture more than the words. Your quilt is beautiful.

Such a stunning quilt/doona cover. I am so glad that you were able to get some assistance with this project and get it finished.

Yes I was very surprised. I have been to quilt shows and exhibitions and the ladies and sometimes the men are so happy to share their knowledge especially if they know you are new at quilting. Thank you for the compliment.

I didnt mention her name but she has a website and has done several books. I got the pattern off Favquilting site. The instructions someplace said "ignore last information" how can you have that in an instruction. I tried to put a comment on her website, but you have to register and all that and I am not sure that she would have put it on. I too had to keep referring to the picture. Thank you for the compliment

I just instead a thread here asking what I was doing wrong. Sorry forgot name but this lovely lady not only gave me my mistakes but we were passing emails nearly all day, while she was unpacking from a show or was it moving house. Quilters are usually so generous with time and effort. She was fantastic.

You did a good job on it, Big Sister. I still haven't done paper piecing. It takes too long for me. Love your colors.
