I first started with 2 tv trays. One for the machine and one to stack material and notions on. Then a card table like yours. Your table will grow as your sewing and quilting needs/wants grow. Just have fun!

You are off to a good start. No one can make perfect quilts, I have made about 130 and still trying to make a perfect quilt and still haven't. Maybe if a person made the same pattern over and over it could be done.

Love your fabric selection. It is great that you started with a simple pattern. As you acquire more skill at quilting you can work your way into more advance patterns.

You are off to a great start as the others said. Great choice in fabrics and your pillows are gorgeous. Don't be intimidated as there is no such thing as "quilt police" and you have to please only one person - yourself! My sister is a perfectionist compared to me and constantly fretting over her sewing but I am laid back and love it just like it is. Only one perfect person in my world and that is my Lord and Savior. Enjoy your sewing and you will find it relieves a lot of stress.

Love the pillow covers. Also sewers can always figure out a place to sew. I sat in the floor & used our cofee table for awhile.
