I'm working on my UFO quilt that I started last year about this time...."AFFAIRS OF THE HEART"...I planned to have it finished for our local quilt show in November, but life got in my way. So I am just now working on it again, plus my machine has been really giving me fits...but it's 10 years old and has excessive hours on it...It's been a wonderful machine but now I have to bite the bullet and trade it in for a new one....hopefully on Wednesday....we shall see! Wish me luck and cross your fingers or whatever you have that you can cross! LOL

I really hate switching horses in the middle of the stream, but at this time I don't have much choice!

Sort of like putting a beloved pet down! BooHooHoo!

    Hugs, Drue

Finishing up the hand quilting on a lap quilt for us. Just finished a baby quilt for a friend's new baby a week or so ago. Not a bit too soon as the baby arrived yesterday - a few days ahead of the scheduled c-section! That will be gifted as soon as mom & dad are ready for some company. And I'm doing a BOM at my LQS.

I'm working on my scrappy split 16 patch. I have 58 blocks done, every patch cut from scraps.

I've got a bit more quilting on a UFO, then it needs binding. Have another quilt that needs to be marked, quilted and bound and just finished washing and ironing the fabric for a red and white quilt. It is the one in the newest AQS magazine. Fell in love with that one!!

I simply cannot start on my UFO pile yet. If I start, I would not want to quit! Gotta finish with the tax work first! Yuk!

Just yesterday, I finished my "Tropical Paradise". It is a Boxed Squares pattern all in batiks and quilted with dolphins and waves. It is 61 x 77 inches. And can you believe it....I am starting another one. I have a bunch of strips cut already. Boy, do I LOVE the Boxed Sqyuares pattern!
