Patrick's studio is here in Phoenix. Gary works at the studio and would gladly answer any questions.

I know because I e-mailed the studio for some other info and Gary was most helpful. Did it all on the computer.

Deb Karasik has one that is not cheap - but I really like the feature that it continues past the needle - it sticks on to the machine, so it can be easily removed and re-stuck. http://www.debkarasik.com/store.php?cat=3

I took a class from her this weekend and got to see it in action. It is now on my wishlist.

    Cheers, K

I have a Janome 6600 too. But I didn't know I had one of these seam guides. What I learn here could fill a book. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it with the walking foot.

I love the "lead in space" that it gives me, it's incredibly "visible" (unlike the little tiny piece of metal on the 1/4" feet), and mine is wide enough to cover behind the foot and a good deal of "lead in" in front of the foot.

My consistency in 1/4" seams has improved dramatically since I started using it.

They're not only for vintage machines - check your machine, chances are pretty good that even it's a modern machine it has a screw hole.
