    Yes, the stars are ragged too. It is in the washer at the moment. I'll take another pic when it is dried. I'll take a close up of the stars for you too.

    I cut out a piece of white fabric and then another in the other fabric. I put the white behind the colored so I'd have 2 layers to rag instead of one. I stitched about 1/2 inch inside the shape. The star was a template in the book the quilt was in.

    It just came out of the dryer. Here it is again after being washed. And here's a close up of the stars.
