    Your quilt is lovely and very comfy looking. Sometimes you have to find a different venue to display works of art so the recipients don't see it before hand and the surprise is spoiled. I have a relative who lurks around the QB and doesn't know how to keep secrets. She has no problem and actually enjoys spoiling surprises. Gets very upset when she isn't informed of any news.

    Yes it was quilt as you go ! I have a small-ish space to quilt in so trying to wrestle a queen size quilt all at once is just asking for trouble ! Plus I love doing contrasting backing squares from the front, so if they want to they can easily flip the quilt over for a different look ! I did the same for my grandmothers quilt and she loves deciding each morning what side to put on the top !

    My family has no idea about this board haha, so it makes it the perfect place to show off things I don't want them to see !!

    My grandmother suggested I make some shams or throw pillows to go with it, and I think I have enough of the top material to do that, so thats my plans for the weekend !
