Funniest quilt I ever saw was done by a quilter who was SICK of Sunbonnet
Sue.. so she made a quilt with 20 ways to get rid of Sunflower Sue.. she hanged her, drowned her and every other way of "offing" her that you can imagine... Hang in there... this too shall pass.

Since you are doing them by hand, you could get them all ready to sew and put them in a project box with your needle, thread and thimble. That way you can just pick up your box and take it with you where ever you go, or just pick it up when you are sitting down to relax or watch TV.

Ginnie, anybody would go bonkers doing the same quilt nine times in a row. God bless you for undertaking this project. Maybe you can teach one of your sisters to make Sue and you can put them together into the quilt top.She may really like to help with this project.

well the 3 that I wanted to do for Christmas are together. I added a 9p block into the last two and that really helped relieve the repetitiveness. Plus that way I had enough blocks to do 2 instead of 1! So I'm starting on the actual quilting of them now. that part doesn't bore me to tears for some reason. Then I'll start on the last 4 next year. There's no timetable on those.....they'll be for my dd's who already know its not going to happen overnight.
